During the last year, Arabella has been considering donating her hair to Little Princess Trust. In March this year, Arabella’s class mate Oliver was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukaemia T Cell and some very rare mutations to the Leukaemia gene were also found. On 18th July 2024, Arabella will be making her hair donation with the support of Jo Mellor Hair.

Oliver started a 24 month course of treatment and recently he has been able to visit his class. Arabella has been inspired by the strength Oliver has shown and always shares with us how much he enjoys laughing with his friends.

Having seen Oliver not only loose his hair but having to use a wheelchair in school, Arabella wanted to try and do something to make it easier for other children like Oliver and their families. Money at this age doesn’t mean much to Arabella but she has always been proud of her long hair. She is donating her hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair and we are fundraising for Little Princess Trust and Blood Cancer UK as without their research, Oliver’s specific cancer would not have been diagnosed.
