Both Positive Futures and Defying Dementia charities had an amazing positive impact on both Andy's and Sue’s lives.

Positive Futures was a place where Andy attended guitar and drawing sessions, somewhere he always felt welcome and safe to turn up at any time for a chat and a bacon butty. We will be forever grateful for the kindness of the team at Positive Futures.

Defying Dementia is a charity shop that both Andy and Sue volunteered at weekly, Andy enjoyed going through donations and often came home with another CD to add to the pile, they offer a place of purpose with no expectations, a place to catch up with colleagues and natter to customers.
