Hackney Night Shelter has two independent homeless shelters in Hackney, with the larger in the heart of Victoria Park Village, supporting the community by providing emergency accommodation to those experiencing homelessness. Every night around 26 homeless people can sleep in warmth and safety. Almost all will be supported by HNS into longer term places to live.

We - Andrea and Kathy - are Trustees on the HNS Board. We are joining the second HNS Sleep Out to raise funds to help our local shelters (that have been going for 28 years) to stay open for years to come!

Community fundraising events are essential to keep Hackney Night Shelter's doors open 365 nights of the year. We wouldn’t be able to continue our vital work without support through people power and local grants throughout the year.
