The Big Blue Bike Ride is a cycling challenge for beginner to advanced cyclists. All types of bikes are welcome. Join us on 10 September 2023 in Windsor, choose to ride 40 or 65 miles, and raise money to help beat prostate cancer.

Story

The Alton Santo Smashers are taking part in the 65 mile Epic Big Blue Bike Ride 2022 this September to raise money and help beat prostate cancer.

1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, sons, uncles and mates. The money raised will fund research into lifesaving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.

Update: On 11 September, we completed a 66mile bike ride as an alternative to the Big Blue Bike Ride, raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK. The event itself was postponed until spring 2023, due to the passing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We felt we should still do the ride for all of the people that so generously donated to our Just Giving pages on behalf of Prostate Cancer UK. We are planning on completing the ride in the Spring 2023 also.
