Story

The Cause

In September 2022, we lost our sister Ally to breast cancer, aged 31. She lived a remarkable and inspiring life, working as a doctor whilst maintaining a wonderful social life too. She was, and still is, well loved and remembered by her friends and family.

She lived her last 3 years like she did the rest, with humour and compassion, always putting her son and husband first.

We all miss Ally tremendously and imagine she’d think we’re crackers for taking on a challenge like this.

The Challenge

In September, we are undertaking the Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge - a 50km walk through the Chiltern Hills.

The Charity

Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
