Story
In memory of Albert / Alb / Dad / Grandad Lutz
29 September 1940 - 17 May 2020
We are thankful for the messages and love being sent. We cannot, unfortunately, invite as many as we'd like to his service and some of you have asked to send flowers, which is kind. A practical bloke, he'd prefer donations to charity rather than flowers we believe, so we have chosen two charities close to us and to him.
Pick your charity - first one is the Vindolanda Trust. The Trust's mission is to excavate and preserve the Roman remains in the Trust's ownership in the central sector of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site. Albert loved a dig around finding Roman coins, sandals and bits. He went there with Annie twice a year for about 13 years. They're struggling, so help will be appreciated.
The Arthur Rank Hospice looked after Albert superbly during his last few months, both physically and mentally (even the basket weaving...!) and we're hugely grateful.
Please do leave messages with any donations, or contact us directly with messages . Much love to you all.
