In July, Alex's much loved father in-law, Alan Parkin sadly passed away after a long battle with Prostate Cancer. Alan's final months were spent at Hayward House Hospice, in the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital. At Hayward House the team were absolutely incredible, giving the whole family so much love and support.

Hayward House relies on donations to enable them to go above and beyond, supporting families as they say goodbye to their loved ones.

To say thanks, Alex and his life-long friend Matthew are running The Robin Hood Half Marathon on the 29th September to raise funds for Hayward House.
