Story

Our team is fundraising for SameYou as part of the Virtual Inca Challenge and we're hoping to raise $1,000 (OR MORE) to support brain injury recovery. But we need your help to get there! We'll be walking, running, cycling and/or swimming 26 miles - the length of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Honestly, 26 miles in a month is fairly easy -- so we're planning to push that number! Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is caused by injury to the brain after birth. This includes strokes, tumours, concussions and accidents. 1 in 3 people will have an Acquired Brain Injury at some point in their lives, but this is hardly ever talked about. SameYou wants to change this. They are working to break the silence around brain injury and help give people the best possible chance of recovery after leaving the hospital. Any donation would help and would be really appreciated. If you are interested in learning more, go to: https://www.sameyou.org Thank you in advance for supporting us. I couldn't do it without kindness of friends and family like you.
