Story
On 28th April Jill sadly passed away after having suffered a stroke the day before. She was a vibrant and well loved friend and family member taken from us far too soon.

Jill was a generous sole and she loved to do her bit for charity. One event she took part in more than once was The Kiltwalk. So I thought it a fitting tribute to do one for her, at a place she loved and to raise funds for a charity she so frequently supported.
This year, the virtual Kiltwalk takes place over the weekend of 7th to 9th October. Giving people the opportunity to chose where to do their event and also split it up however they wish.
Register here for The Kiltwalk
I am planning to do the full 26.2 miles (two laps) setting off and finishing at Burleigh Sands and would welcome anyone to join me. Loch Leven National Nature Reserve, Burleigh Sands, Kinross, KY13 9EZ https://g.co/kgs/YiX6YR
Other options would be to do a single lap (13.1 miles) or even clock-up the distance over the weeks running up to the event and finish it that weekend. The choice is yours.
I plan to donate any funds raised to two charities. The first is It’s Good 2 Give, as Jill frequently raised funds or donated to them, and secondly to Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland to help support those affected by this awful illness and disease.
However, I would welcome anyone and everyone who wishes to remember Jill and take part in this event with me, to please feel free to raise funds for their own selected charity if they wish.
It would be wonderful to finish off the day with a gathering on the beach to share our many memories of Jill and watch the sun go down together
Thanks for your support.
