Sadly our Abseil has been postponed, but don't worry we remain determined to complete the challenge... A huge Thank You to those who have donated already. We plan to keep our just giving page active and our Abseil is being rescheduled for 23rd September 2023! So plenty of time for you to support us...or even join us!

We are a team of Health Care Professionals within Acute Medicine in the JR. We have been overwhelmed by the incredible support the Oxford Hospital Charities have provided us and our colleagues during some very difficult times. As a team we want to give back to the Charity and see this as a way to thank them for their continuous presence.

We hope to continue to work with the Charity in the future and will be aiming to develop our patient areas, such as creating dementia friendly outside spaces for some of our inpatients.

For these reasons we have decided to brave the 100ft Abseil off the JR Women's Centre on the 23rd September 2023! We are not all good with heights so this has potential to be an uncomfortable, undignified and terrifying experience!
