An AFP London-based team will take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 8th, 2023, in order to raise funds for the Rory Peck Trust.

The Rory Peck Trust is the only charity dedicated to the support, safety, and welfare of freelance journalists worldwide. Telling the stories the world needs to hear can come at great risk to freelance journalists, many of whom have been seriously injured, threatened, imprisoned, detained, forced into exile, or killed as a result of their work. The Trust provides dedicated training and support through their Crisis, Recovery, and Trauma Therapy Funds as well as specialist mental health and resilience skills training through our Resilience Programme. They are committed to supporting and protecting freelance journalists who uphold our democratic freedoms.
