Raising money for Barnardo's

Adecco Branch Network and Barnardo’s 2024-2025
Campaign by Barnardo's (RCN 216250, Scotland SC037605)
Help us raise vital funds to give children and young people a brighter future.

Story

Adecco UK are taking part in the Peak of Summer Challenge on Friday, 9th of August.

The challenge involves hiking Mount Snowdon in Wales, climbing to a peak of 3,560 ft.

We are expecting to have an amazing 40 people take part in the in-person hike, each with a goal of raising £100 for each for Barnardo's. This is such a fantastic example of collaboration as we are seeing colleagues take part from across all of our Global Business Units (GBUs), as well as their friends and families.

We have several colleagues from the Northwest taking part, including Nabilah and Alice from Preston, and colleagues from Stockport, Warrington, Chester and beyond!

The climb involves some really challenging sections, but there will be plenty of time to stop, have a snack break, and take in the idyllic scenery of the mountain range. On the way back down the mountain, we are planning a pit-stop by the lake. I'm sure we'll all be needing a breather by then!

The hike is 8 miles altogether, which I'm sure will be a magical experience, and all for a great cause supporting Barnardo's Children's charity so that children can liver safer, happier and healthier lives.

Please support by sponsoring our hikers and making a donation here.
