Story
Ditch the duvet. Banish the blanket. And pack away the pillow
On Friday 21 August, we will take part in the Boycott your Bed challenge and will sleep in an unusual spot in our homes or gardens to raise money for Action for Children.
All funds raised will go towards supporting young people and vulnerable families pay for essentials such as food, nappies, cleaning products, and gas and electricity.
Action for Children is an amazing charity that runs 476 services across the UK, helping more than 387,000 vulnerable children, young people and families every year.
Before coronavirus hit, there were over 4 million children in the UK locked in poverty. Now, vulnerable families in all of our communities have reached breaking point, and Action for Children are doing all they can to help. Since the crisis, they have supported over 4,000 children and young people by helping vulnerable families pay for basic essentials. Now more than ever, they need our help.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all of us to come together in the spirit of charity to make a tremendous difference to the lives of many families and young children. Please donate whatever you can.
