Story
During these difficult times, The Applied Research Team have decided to participate in a virtual team challenge by creating awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland during the month of April💓. Our virtual challenge is to accumulate a distance of 160 km in total as a team through running or walking from now until April the 26th, while adhering to the government's rules of no greater than a 2km distance from home and adhering to social distancing. 160 km is a significant distance for Glanbia as it is the total distance of a round trip from Glanbia's Ballyragget site to Glanbia's Belview site.
We have created a JustGiving page, because as a team we wanted to make a difference while taking on a virtual team challenge. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all the usual fundraising events in Ireland have been cancelled. The month of April is the awareness month for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. We are inspired by the work of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and wanted to support them by raising money as part of our participation in the Duleek Cystic Fibrosis Mini Marathon Virtual Run. Please help us aid Cystic Fibrosis Ireland by giving whatever you can using the link attached and the ‘Donate' button on our team page.
