Story
Dear friends,
This is a fundraising effort to support young people living with cancer. Our ten-year-old son (Aaran) has recently been diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer called Ewing sarcoma.
Since July, we have seen how this devastating disease impacts lives and the amazing work that healthcare professionals are doing to develop new drugs, pioneer innovation, develop treatment plans, and provide holistic care to give children a better chance of surviving cancer.
Our initial fundraising goal is to reach US$50,000 by April 30, 2025. We have past the halfway mark with your generosity and support.
Wheelchairs and fluid pumping backpacks have been bought, allowing children to leave the ward without disrupting their treatment. New arts and crafts supplies have been purchased, which provides a creative outlet and opportunities to interact with one another.
Numerous wonderful friends and family members have engaged in fundraising activities from Kenya to Kazakhstan, which have included half marathons, forest bike rides and office auctions, and more are planned in the coming months.
Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated to support children’s chances of surviving cancer and advancing global medical research.
