Story

Marie Curie is a charity very close to our hearts and for whom we as a family have done much fundraising in the past. As many of you may know, Bob was my youngest brother sadly passed away in 2009 in the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford after a two year battle with cancer. It was an incredibly difficult time for the whole family however we have never forgotten the exceptional care that Marie Curie provided to him and his loved ones at the end of his life during his three month stay in their Bradford hospice.

Alison and I will we walking the Beat Hadrian's Wall a 22 mile stroll amongst the stunning scenery of Northumberland.

Fundraising is our opportunity to give something back to Marie Curie for all of the support they gave us through those most difficult times and to help Marie Curie provide expert care to those most in need and we would be most grateful for your sponsorship in this great event.

Dan Allerton and Alison Thompson
