Raising money for CHIPS Charity Ltd and Muscular Dystrophy UK

Story

Due to the virgin money closing all fundraising sites, we have transferred our original fundraising (£2,203) to this site. We would be grateful if you are able to split any donations between the two charities: CHIPs and Muscular Dystrophy UK using the hyperlinks.

As some of you may know, at the end of April our best friend suddenly passed away at the age of just 23. Niamh was an inspiration to us all, showing us that nothing can get in the way of your dreams.

In Niamh’s memory we are taking on (with a lot of training!) the three peaks challenge, aiming to complete all three national peaks in just 24hours and raise as much money as possible for two charities close to Niamh’s heart:

CHIPs supported Niamh with buying her electric wheelchair which gave her the independence to do what she wanted when she wanted.

Chips works to give children the independence they deserve to live their life to the fullest.

Muscular Dystrophy UK not only raise funds for research into diagnosis and treatment of more than 60 rare and very rare progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions, they also support people affected with the conditions especially in times like Covid.

If you are able to donate and support these amazing charities we would all be very grateful. We will be sharing photos of us training for and completing the challenge as we go, to keep us motivated and provide entertainment in return for donations!
