Event: SleepOut for LandAid - Birmingham, from 6 February 2020 to 7 February 2020
LandAid is holding it's first ever Edgbaston SleepOut at Edgbaston Cricket Ground! Brave one night out to make a change.

Story

On the Thursday 6th February, we will be braving one night out outside, to help prevent young people from facing the same prospect, every night. This year, around 86,000 young people in the UK will be homeless.

STEAMhouse is a building for Birmingham City University that will promote the journey students take from their studies into the commercial world, providing workshops, gallery, collaborative workspace through to office space all designed for people to meet and share ideas.

Where STEAMhouse will help grow students into entrepreneurs into fully fledges business’, LandAid represents a transition from homeless into a position of sustained working. The same aim but different starting points.

The team is made up of Aukett Swanke, Birmingham City University, Delta Planning, Derry Building Services, Baynahm Meikle, Bowmer and Kirkland, Stantec.
