Story

Five team members of Primary Eyecare are getting their running shoes at the ready take part in the 2024 London Marathon, raising money for our partner charity, SeeAbility.

Training has been well underway for the Primary Eyecare team members who have chosen to take part, as they prepare to run the lengthy 26-mile stretch across the streets of London in April next year.

All funds raised towards our marathon team will be directly donated to SeeAbility, a charity whose invaluable work is crucial to creating a positive impact on the lives of individuals living with a learning disability or autism, who may also have sight issues.

SeeAbility is a charity which aims to enhance the lives of people with learning disabilities and/or autism, by offering support in helping them to find employment, form friendships and enjoy new experiences and hobbies.

About the charity

SeeAbility provides ambitious social care for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. We encourage them to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society - and they in turn challenge us all to think about what’s possible, and to rethink disability.
