A team of 20 Trekkers including 15 medics from across the UK have teamed up to support Mary Ann Evans Hospice in raising funds for the Rapid response service which is so vital to patients and their carers at the end of their lives.This service supports patients and their carers to remain at home home or return to home in their final few days.We are trekking to Everest base camp at our own expense so that all funds raised will go to supporting this vital service.Hospice services have to provide more than 75% of costs from charitable sources.
