Story
Hello, my name is Mark, thank you for your time. I am a passionate Luton town supporter of 40 years and enthusiastic cyclist, I have set myself a challenge to cycle to all Luton Town away games
in the 21/22 season I completed 26 away cycle challenges cycling 2,970 miles with actual cycling time of 202 hours (which equates to 8 days) with elevation of 127,000 feet that is equivalent to climbing Mount Everest 4 times!!! To date, an unbelievable £13,893 has been donated, this page will be available for donations until the end of May,
. A heartfelt thank you everyone for your support, encouragement and generosity. It really means so much, I am overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me on my challenge.
Although I have reached my initial target, I am hoping to raise as much as possible for each of the 3 worthwhile and deserving charities that are personal to me and do incredible work which are Keech Hospice, CALM & Prostate Cancer UK.
KEECH HOSPICE CARE offer specialist care to adults & children in Beds, Herts & MK who have life limiting and terminal illnesses and need to raise £6M a year to provide care services.
CALM is a national charity that offers frontline support and is actively involved in suicide prevention through help line support and raising awareness In addition to supporting anyone with mental health challenges. For every £8 raised will enable the helpline to answer a potentially life saving call.
PROSTATE CANCER (UK) is most common cancer in men, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed and every 45 minutes one man dies of prostate cancer. Donations will help fund research into preventing, treating and diagnosing prostate cancer.
I would really appreciate your support to help raise awareness for these amazing charities and to help to reach my target, it will be much appreciated.
Thank you. Mark
