Amplifying the Voices of Communities facing Crises
Amplifying Voices have been working for more than a decade to see holistic community transformation, across Africa and Asia. In celebration of their 10th anniversary, our team of 5 are in training for the Brighton Sprint Triathlon on 10th September this year. We would love for you to join us in support as we take on this challenge…
“We are fundraising for an amazing project in the troubled province of north Kivu (DRC), where the Amp V team have recently been on site working with a local team. They have seen the enormous impact this team has had, since Amplifying Voices first helped them set up a radio station, ‘Umoja’ (Unity FM) in 2016. Through two wars, an ebola crisis, a refugee crisis and the pandemic, the station has been a vital source of information and spiritual hope to so many. Many more communities, who can’t hear the broadcasts have asked AmpV to help extend the station’s signal. They also need to help develop the local team and provide equipment so that the station can become locally sustainable. The needs are vast and the challenges many, but we are compelled to do what we can to support their work, so they may continue amplifying the voices of their own communities, to be heard, empowered and promoting peace and reconciliation across their whole region.”

We’d also love for you to join us in support, if you can - we have a big audacious goal to reach before we race the triathlon in one month’s time!!
Thank you for your support and standing with us as we take on this challenge!
