Raising money for The Survivors Trust, The American Cancer Society and Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity

Story

Make 97 miles count

97% of women aged 18-24 have been sexually harassed in public spaces.*

Recent events have highlighted this. As a sponsored event, Cardiff University Ladies Cricket Club are running 97 miles in a week to raise awareness of the harassment women face on a regular basis. We will be donating the funds raised to The Survivors Trust. This charity provides ‘support and therapy to over 80,000 individuals each year’. Their core aim is to ‘ensure that society supports all survivors effectively and takes responsibility for ending sexual violence!’

We hope to raise at least £500. The event will take place between 28th March and 3rd April. With donations ending on the 10th April.

All donations are greatly appreciated!
