We want to make Suffolk the best place to talk about & take care of mental health

Story

Thank you for visiting my team page for the 100 mile 30 day walking challenge I have chosen to do this month.

Most of you who visit this page will know that May marks a year since one of my best friends, Amelie, passed away, at 28 years old. It was ruled she passed away of SADS.

She was a beautiful human inside and out and it was completely out of the blue. She is missed and loved by so many.

I wanted to set myself this challenge the month before my 30th birthday to honour Amelie's memory.

The charities I am raising money for are therefore very close to my heart.

The first charity is SADS UK which raises awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

The second charity is Suffolk Mind. This charity is being supported by my company this year and their work is so important. They have also launched a campaign this year to get a book published on the benefits on movement and mental health in Children called Sammy the Sea Squirt.

I will be asking for donations instead of birthday gifts this year to help raise money for these amazing charities. Please choose which charity you would like to support, I hope to keep the money raised equal between the two charities.
