Each 7-day break provided by Charlies Star for a bereaved family costs £2000 (based on a family of 4, seasonal dependant). This includes all travel, accommodation, food and local excursions. By supporting Charlies Star, you are helping to create hope and smiles for families who have faced the most heart-breaking tragedy of their lives.

None of us can change what has happened, but together we can make their lives a little easier.

As a charity we recognise that during the current financial situation, many people are not in a position to continue to donate to charity and therefore we have to think outside the box.

Our aim is to purchase our own holiday accommodation, here in the heart of Cornwall, which in itself will generate an income all year round, allowing us to continue to support bereaved families.

This is not cheap (£26,000), but moving forward will provide a solid foundation to work from and increase the number of families we are able to proved for.
