We are a group of middle age friends who during lockdown, agreed we wanted to do something a little different to our usual eating and drinking around Spinningfields (although there will be room for that). So, we have agreed to take part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge, 49K walk from Kendal to Lake Windermere. We will be fundraising for the fantastic Manchester charity; Once Upon a Smile. They do amazing work for children and young people in the Manchester area and like all small charities, need our support more than ever due to the impact of Covid-19.
