We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

On Friday 4th March, I completed my 17 marathons in 17 consecutive days, for the 17 years my Grandad lived with Dementia.

My Grandfather, Captain Rick Taylor, was diagnosed with Dementia at 58 years old. An adventurer and explorer himself, he was one of my greatest heroes. I made the promise at his funeral in front of family and friends to support Alzheimer's Research UK with one challenge every year until the day we find a cure and beat Dementia together.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this challenge, it truly means the world to me and my family. All donations go directly to the charity and funding vital research!
