Story
Team tiara's princess' and prince charmings – Sarah, Antony, Mark, Fizz and Clare are taking part in a 13.1 mile midnight walk to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. We are raising money in memory of Pat Humphries, the most wonderful and courageous mum, nanny, wife, auntie and friend.
Starting midnight Friday 11th June we will be walking 13.1 miles (half a marathon) starting at the Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and walking the streets of Walton, Hampton Court and Esher! All princess' and princes' will be wearing tiaras – embarrassing photos to follow!! Tony is volunteering on the night to help the princess' and princes' with directions.
The hospice supported Pat not only during her last hours of life, but during her long battle with cancer. Pat really enjoyed visiting the hospice as a day visitor where she would talk with nurses, other ‘patients’, play board games, paint, enjoy the wonderful gardens and lunch too! Pat had the pleasure of meeting Trinny and Susannah at a ‘Feel Good, Look Good’ day and enjoyed manicures, massages and a good gossip with Susannah!
Please donate what you can - every penny counts and all adds up to go to a wonderful cause – you can even donate via paypal from your ebay sales!
Thank you for your support, we hope to raise £1,000 to go towards the work of the hospice so that other people with life threatening illnesses and their families can benefit from the wonderful services and support they provide.

Please donate as much as you can towards the work of the hospice so that they can continue to help people with terminal illness and their families - every penny counts:
£50 could pay for two aromatherapy or reflexology sessions, helping to relieve a patient’s pain and sickness; and to reduce anxiety in patients and their carers.
£173 is the average cost of each social work and bereavement session delivered free of charge by one of their specially trained team.
£430 is the average cost of providing one day of free care to a patient in their In-patient Ward.
