Story
National Parks hold a special place in my heart ever since my parents dragged our family to Glacier when I was 11 (I initially couldn't believe there were no TVs in the rooms at Many Glacier Lodge). Annual trips to National Parks and the amazing experiences in them led to a love of hiking, climbing, and mountain biking, as well as moves to Colorado and Washington. National Parks are majestic and spiritual places, and Washington has three very special ones in Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades. I am honored to be a Board Member of Washington's National Park Fund to help raise money for priority projects for the parks, but more importantly, to protect and increase access to these amazing places -- so people can have the same meaningful experiences I did as a kid. I will be climbing Mount Shuksan (Fisher Chimneys) as part of the Fund's Climb for a Cause program, and hope you will consider donating. Thank you!
