This Ramadan create a lasting legacy for your loved ones Sadaqah is a form of voluntary charity which is highly emphasised in Islam as it carries great reward and brings numerous benefits. “Charity (Sadaqah) extinguishes sin, just as water extinguishes fire.” - Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Sadaqah is not judged by how big or small it is, but on how it helps people and how regularly it is done. It is not an obligation but instead a practice performed to cleanse your soul, ward off calamites and put your heart and mind at ease. Sadaqah Jariyah is among the three deeds that will accompany you in the grave and it’s rewards will continue to benefit us even after death. Therefore, Sadaqah Jariyah donations are often made in the name of a deceased person so it may continue to benefit them in the Hereafter. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” During this blessed month of Ramadan when the rewards of charity are multiplied, donate your sadaqah generously in memory of your loved ones. Not only will they benefit but you too will reap the rewards InshaAllah. Here at Guidance Hub, we use your sadaqah donations to deliver a range of social and educational programmes across Greater Manchester and help so many people in our community. Donating towards this project will mean you receive a share of all the rewards of every activity that takes place at the Guidance Hub. Every salah that is prayed, every ayah of Qur’an recited, every person that learns about their Deen, every dhikr gathering that takes place, every person that takes shahada – you and your loved ones will share in this reward Insha’Allah.
