About Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST)
The Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST) is a charity that runs enterprise centres for disadvantaged people in Shropshire & The Marches to help them explore routes to financial independence.
It is a hub to help unemployed people in the local area to have the opportunity to utilise their talents and potential so they can run a profitable and viable business, or provide the steps to help them stand out from the crowd in trying to obtain gainful employment.
SYST provides the space and support for these people to create a job for themselves, maximising their business and personal potential, leading to financial independence.
It provides practical workshops, clinics, 1-2-1 mentorship, advice and suggestions to help you succeed, whether that be in starting your own business, or even in how to go about getting the kind of job you are looking for in the future through employment.
Key to obtaining great results is looking after your mental and emotional wellbeing so it also works with experts to help you identify and recognise your own head space, as well as provide practical tools and strategies to manage your mindset on a daily basis.
This helps support the long-term goal of the charity which is to support regeneration in the Shropshire & Marches area by developing local enterprise and creating employment opportunities in the community.
