Susan's Sky Dive for St. Catherine's Hospice

Abseil · 18 March 2017
My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer & a brain tumour in August 2016. In November 2016, he was admitted as an in-patient at St Catherine's Hospice and received the most amazing care from the in-patient clinical staff, day therapy staff, Clinical Nurse Specialist's and Physiotherapists.
He is now being cared for in a nursing home but with continued support from the Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Until you are in a position where you need the service and support of the Hospice personally it is so difficult to express how brilliant all the staff are. Please help me to provide vital funds for this amazing place.
St Catherine's Hospice has been providing specialised care and support for the people of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble for more than 30 years. We're here to help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life and, when the time comes, to have comfort and dignity in death. It costs around £5m every single year to run St Catherine's. We rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds we need.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
