About Stockport Garrick Theatre limited
We have been putting on live theatre since 1901. Our members can use existing skills, interests and talents and develop new ones. We have socials, play readings and theatre trips.
We have a fantastic, enthusiastic Youth Group trained by a professional tutor.
Recently we transformed a dilapidated basement into a performance area for Members, Youth and local community. Funds are needed to furnish, install stage lighting and sound. This area will bring benefit to Stockport residents both as audience and as members by providing a centre for performance of arts and cultural activities. A safe place for children to develop a love of theatre and arts, attending classes, rehearsing and performing plays each year.
We believe this whole project will greatly benefit the community.
Whatever the age it is a place to feel welcomed, safe and valued.
