About St Marks Marske PCC
The White House or Institute, call it what you will, has been used by Marske residents for over 150 years. It is still in demand from Keep Fit groups, ladies groups, Weight Watchers, choirs, bands and more.
Recently St Mark’s has spent £45,000 in improvements in the building. We have upgraded the toilets, replaced the windows, installed a new heating system and created a new small meeting room. We have been able to do this with grants, donations from Church members (£9,000) and fundraisers. Now all fund raising events have been cancelled due to COVID 19. We wish to go ahead with new washable floor coverings in the two main halls and repairs to the flat roof, costing a total of £20,000. We have £6,500 towards this and would appreciate further help.
