Story

Dear Friends,

On April 13th, after months of gruelling winter training out in the cold, wind and rain I will be attempting to run my first (and almost certainly last) London marathon. I would really appreciate any donation large or small to help spur me on, as the money will really help improve people’s lives in difficult situations.

I am running for a charity close to my family called the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (www.irhh.org) who offer specialist nursing care at home to patients with terminal illness, within the Chilterns region of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire in the UK.

Donating through this page is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Iain Rennie Hospice At Home will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

…and as an extra little incentive the more I can raise through this page the more my generous employer will match the donations (up to £500).

Your support is really appreciated, thank you very much.

Steve
