Story

As some of you know, I do enjoy a walk.....usually quite a long walk....and usually to raise money for Charity.

On Sunday 4th September, I'm starting what can only be described as the craziest one I've done yet!!! 3 friends and myself (all crown green bowlers) are setting off from Stoke Prior, just south of Bromsgrove, which is where the UK's most southerly crown green bowling green is located. From there, we're walking across 14 counties in 14 days.....a distance of 400Km (250 miles)….finishing in Fleetwood, on the sunny Fylde coast, on Saturday 17th September. But why you ask.....all of our efforts are to raise awareness and vital funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

But that's not all.....on each evening of the walk, there's a fundraising event being held at a local bowls club in the host county. So.....14 Counties in 14 days AND 14 fundraising events!!!

I appreciate that times are financially tough for everyone in these uncertain times, but if you would like to support our challenge, any donation will be much appreciated.
