As some of you will know, my work colleague, Lee Summers has had the worst 2010 that one could imagine........

His sister and father both passed away in 2010 from cancer related illnesses. He too was diagnosed with Tubula Villous adenoma which is a pre-cancerous abnormal growth in the bowel which is linked to the HPNCC gene cancer. His mother  died from cancer in 1976. The Christie Hospital in Manchester has supported Lee and his family thoughout this time.

I wanted to do something to raise some money for this charity......... so I am growing and keeping my RED / GINGER beard until mid-February, when I will have it shaved off, cut-throat / Sweeney Todd style.
