Story

On April 10th 2004 staffie joined the Holmesdale.net fast becoming known as the most helpful member of the HOL. He won the end of season award for just that no less than 6 times.  He won the lifetime achievement award 6 times as well.  This is a sheer indication of just how much people appreciated his never ending dedication to Palace, the Holmesdale and to his fellow fans worldwide.

On April 18th 2015, just over 11 years after staffie first joined the Holmesdale he posted his final post:

"Ive got to go to hospital now - urgently. I have bad chest pains and after having 2 heart attacks I have to get things checked out.

I have a few links for todays game...

Crystal Palace V West Bromwich Albion

Prem

Kick Off : 3pm

This game is available online and is scheduled to be streamed here :"

That was typical of this great man.  Even in pain and what must have been fear he still was putting his fellow fans first and foremost.  He still made sure to post the links there for people because that's what staffie would do.

staffie had three great loves. Palace, music and finally and possibly his greatest love of all was his dogs.  He would often refer to needing to 'take out the hound' at the end of a game and that love for his dogs inspired me (alongside posts by Kermit, DannyH, Bexley Dave and others) to help to fundraise for the PDSA in his memory. So dig deep guys and remember when you're posting 'There is no capital s in staffie'.

Rest In Peace staffie, and thank you.
