Story
The Salvation Army Springfield Lodge is a 40 bed supported accommodation unit for young people between 16 - 21, both males and females.
Springfield Lodge is a resettlement Lifehouse that is part of The Salvation Army Social Services for the United Kingdom and Ireland. We provide accommodation and support for young people between the ages of sixteen and twenty-one, both males and females. We work with them to develop their independent living skills with a focus on education, employment and training. It is our aim to support our residents to secure accommodation within two years and then to continue to provide support for them after they have moved out.
Located in Camberwell (South London borough of Southwark) we face the problems of poverty, poor education, limited opportunities and gang culture. We meet these challenges with our faith in God and by building a highly trained staff team who are passionate about serving those in need.
