About Sport for Life International
Sport for Life International is run by the charity Sport Legacy Foundation, registered charity no 1171493, and started as the legacy programme to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. We aim to provide opportunities, inspire and change the lives of children and young people across the globe by inviting them to take part in sport and educational programmes at premium destinations in their local community. Sport for Life International (SFLI) is currently running in Birmingham UK and in Barbados and St Lucia in the West Indies. Aimed particularly at those who have not been successful either at school or, very often, in society, it uses the power of cricket, football and tennis to improve the self-esteem of young people by delivering weekly after-school and weekend programmes throughout the year. Our managers and coaches are focussed, skilled and dedicated and more than ten years' experience has enabled them to make significant impact on the lives of 8-18 year olds in key areas of the world. Help us fundraise for all these young people who benefit from SFLI's coaching - in the UK, and if you are visiting the West Indies, in Barbados and St Lucia! Your support will go a long way to ensuring better lives for more young people.
