Source To Sea Challenge 2016, 24 August 2016
We defend marine wildlife and habitats to save the ocean for future generations

Story

This August 6 Volunteers from Sea Shepherd UK will travel the entire length of the UK’s longest river from it’s absolute source in mid-Wales to the sea at the Severn Bridge near Bristol. The journey will take 6 days with 2 days walking and 4 days of gruelling kayaking. You can learn more about the challenge at our website www.sourcetosea.uk

Our aim is to raise enough money to purchase a new fast small boat to enable us to put Joker, one of SSUK's RIBs into semi-retirement. joker has been a vital part of Sea Shepherd UK’s highly successful Seal Defence Campaign over the last two years and an additional boat is crucial to ensure the continued success of this campaign. Our target is £15,000.
