Story
Sinbad found himself alone, starving and dehydrated, in the strange new land of Hereford 16 days after boarding a shipping container full of linens in Egypt. His journey continued on a lorry until he was finally spotted far inland. He is being fed a little at a time because, although ravenous, his body can't take a full feed. We are appealing for funds for this unique case because it is expensive to treat Sinbad and put him into quarantine.
It will cost the RSPCA almost £2,000 for his 4 month stay.
- £17 will pay for one day of quarantine for Sinbad
- £117 will pay for one week of quarantine for Sinbad
- £510 will pay for one month of quarantine for Sinbad
Quarantine costs include vet bills, microchipping, rabies vaccination, food and care, all of which the RSPCA has to cover.
Any surplus funds will be used to rescue and rehome other cats and kittens like Sinbad.
