***I DID IT***job done***I DID IT***job done***I DID IT!
Hello Everyone,
This September I will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats-that's 1000 miles in 12 days!
Reasons to justify not doing this:-
1) I'm a bit lardy,because
2) I eat too many pies, curries, fish&chips and also
3) I'm quite fond of beer & wine,meaning that
4) I'm not that keen on cycling up hills.Or into wind.Or when it's wet.
Reasons to justify doing this:-
1) I'm a lardy'n'lazy,fair weather cyclist who likes a drink,eats garbage and also because
2) I really want two great causes to get your support, namely
3) The North West Air Ambulance, which provides emergency cover in Lancashire,Cheshire,Merseyside,Cumbria and Greater Manchester.Thing is,they rely entirely on donations,as does
4) Help for Heroes, who help our servicemen and women who've been injured while serving their country.Like the N.W.A.A.,they rely on public donations to continue to make a big difference.
5) I'm covering all the costs of this madness,so you know that whatever you can spare will go to the people who need it.And if you are a U.K. taxpayer please use the GiftAid option which allows these charities to reclaim an extra 28% on top of whatever you give.
6) If we manage to get to the £1500 mark for either charity,I'll give £500 to each cause!
Just a gentle reminder that this Justgiving page is for donating to the North West Air Ambulance folk,so if you'd like to help Help for Heroes please visit my other Justgiving page
