Story
A picture is equal to 1000 words. If you look at the picture that I chose, it is not a picture about the war or a picture about the devastation of homes destroyed and loved ones lost. It is not a picture of children injured or crying because they have absolutely nothing left. I chose a picture of hope. This is the hope that we can give to these children who have seen and experienced so much trauma... experiences that we as adults would struggle with; in fact, I know personally that I struggle to even look at such pictures and videos let alone imagine myself or my loved ones going through that.
This appeal is to support the existing, fully functional shelters dedicated to Syrian orphan children and widows and provide them with the care and support they need.
I have personally personally visited two of these shelters to look at what is being done to help keep hope and inspiration alive in the minds of these children. I loved the work being done and would love to be able to ensure that the great work being done is continued.
Well, there it is folks, my small effort combined with yours can help keep a smile on the faces of these children and give them hope for a better and happier future. The world could do with some more smiles and positivity - the world could do with more people like you!
