Advent Calendar by Team Tharavadu for HOPE. Team Tharavadu hosts a charity dinner every year to raise money for Hope Community Village, a home for disadvantaged children in Kerala (visit www.hopeindia.org for more information on their amazing work.) But due to the pandemic, it didn’t happen this year as we had planned. So, we are creating an Advent calendar for Hope this year. We are aiming to raise money to feed everyone at Hope Community Village from 1st December to 25th December. The first 10 days are sponsored completely by Tharavadu as we do every year for Christmas. Team Tharavadu is aiming to raise money for the remaining 15 days by doing some heavy exercise and we all are also promising to be sober for these 24 days. We understand that COVID has left everyone in a confused and difficult state. We are not requesting you to give anything big, but even a small amount of spare change will be of benefit to the lives of 70+ kids this festive season. We will keep you updated on how well the Push-ups and Running Team Tharavadu do on a daily basis. Let’s make this Christmas meaningful. Love you all.
