Story

In Aid of Prader-Willi Syndrome

myself and Max are both running the Edinburgh marathan festival in support of Elliot's charity .

Elliot Wootley (who has PWS, aged 10) is running the EDINBURGH MARATHON JUNIOR RACE in May 2015.

Supporting Elliot are....

The junior race : Niamh Wootley

The 5k: Oliver Wootley and cousin Ria Mccafferty

The 10k:  His aunties Lorna Robertson, Jean Muir and Robyn Scott with Hayley Milne

The ½ marathon - Elliot’s cousins Euan, Danny and Sean Whelan with Sarah David

The full marathon Sharon McCafferty and friend Sharon Rastelli.

PWS only affects 1 in every 10,000 people.  Individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome have a daily battle with untreatable, insatiable hunger coupled with physical and learning difficulties.  PWSA UK does not receive any government funding and are dependant upon fundraising to help support those affected by the syndrome.

Please help raise awareness and give your support to these amazing people who are taking a lot of time out of their every-day lives to train and prepare for these events, by pledging a donation to P.W.S.A UK on our just giving page:
