Story

II found Cain's story through a mutual friend on Facebook and was inspired by his strength, determination and positive mental attitude towards his diagnosis. I then saw Cain documenting his treatments on TikTok and I wanted to be one of his supporters! I messaged Cain on Facebook, where he told me about the work Oscar's do. This girl doesn't run, unless it's after the ice cream van (!) but I am determined to run 10K in York, not only as a personal achievement but to show my support to Cain and to the amazing team at Oscars. A little definitely goes a long way <3
Together we will find a cure and we‘re all stronger together! So as one we are and will be the Fighting Force! We are all coming together as a collective to raise as much funds and awareness as possible for OSCAR’s pediatric brain tumour charity. Taking part in all sorts of crazy challenges and fund raising events, feel free to take part and take on a challenge or an event to raise money for the charity. About the charity

OSCAR's PBTC was set up in memory of Oscar Hughes, a 9-year-old who died of a brain tumour in 2014. His journey was heartbreaking yet inspiring. OSCAR's aims to provide support and care to children with brain tumours, raise awareness to help diagnosis and fund research into better treatments.
