Story
It has always been important to get food to those most vulnerable in our society, and now, Covid19 has put significant strain on the very services that some individuals rely on to put food on the table. In response to these uncertain times, we (Lindsey and Miztli) are going to be doing seven days of lunchtime yoga and meditation, with each class focusing on a specific Chakra. All classes are by donation and any money raised will be given directly to Compliments of the House.
Compliments Of The House is a registered Brixton based Charity that collects surplus food from businesses and redistributes it to
those most in need. With Covid19 they are having to work hard and fast to create safe methods of collecting and distributing this food. They are a wonderful charity and we are proud to be supporting them.
What we are offering:
7x 30 minute yoga/meditations every lunchtime from 12.30pm-1pm starting on the 6th April. Each class will focus on opening one of the seven Chakras. So, you not only get a nice little lunchtime
stretch but you also get to learn about the body’s energetic fields! These will be streamed on Instagram live from either Lindsey or Miztli’s account.
Follow us and we will give daily updates: @linannhue @mizzlegorg
Donations:
We suggest £10 (that means you get seven classes for a tenner, just over £1 per class). You can of course give more or less. We also want the yoga to be available for anyone so if you can’t afford to donate, just spread the word online. Equally, if you think yoga isn’t for you or aren’t free, donate anyway! Do as many classes as you like!
