Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
There has been a rise in domestic abuse incidents directly related to the coronavirus outbreak, according to a police leader.
Beverley Hughes, Greater Manchester’s deputy mayor for policing and crime, said there had been reports of abuse linked to the lockdown, and said authorities were preparing for serious incidents.
With the rise in cases and the restricted movements of charity workers, there is a need for more resources to help women in dire need. This is why I am fundraising for Fife Women's Aid, a charity that actively seeks to eliminate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on any of these grounds, and to ensure that staff, visitors and service users feel safe.
Using my art store www.seiarto.org, I will be fundraising 50% of its profit to Fife Women's Aid. Alternatively, if you would like to contribute directly to the fundraising campaign, please do as 100% of your donations goes directly to Fife Women's Aid.
