The Co-op Juniors students are taking part in the Spectacular Christmas Danceathon a 2 hour non-stop danceathon to raise money for the Co-op Juniors appeal fund, which aims to raise £50,000 by the end of 2020. The Spectacular Christmas Danceathon will mark what would have been the closing weekend of this year's Christmas Spectacular at Snape Maltings, which unfortunately has been postponed. The 2 hour non-stop danceathon will incorporate all your favourite kinds of dancing. The £50,000 Fundraising appeal will not only secure the future of the Co-op Juniors Theatre Company, whose three annual shows have been postponed to next year but, more importantly, allow us to continue training and inspiring 400 young people in Suffolk through our Theatre Academy and new Creative Warehouse Project. We aim to provide young people with alternative creative opportunities during these challenging times, when arts activities at schools are under threat.
